19:13 Him and us.

Here is another addition to my series.
It is a bit darker but there is a message that overcomes the darkness.
This piece reflects my faith and the world it overcomes.
The Willow in focus is Christ, and the trees behind him are his disciples,
and saints. Revelation 19:13 is my inspiration for this piece. As I was creating
this I was also thinking of those around the world who have suffered 0r died for
professing his name...their persecution for being a Christ follower.

Just sketched the next piece for the series I have been posting.
This one is called "The Wise One".

The Woods

I started this painting Sunday and spent approx 5 hours on it. I will finish it within the next two weeks. It is fairly large.

Today I had a little time to paint my sketch
in Photoshop...and I love it. Nice series goin on here.

Just finished this sketch. Like the one below I want
to bring it into Photoshop and paint it. I love the style I have going here
and would like to build on it.

Using the knife

This is my first go around using only a painting knife. I found it a bit hard at first controlling my strokes. I decided to go with a more impressionist style for this painting. It is still very wet which made it very difficult to get a quality picture of it. Once it dries I will repost this painting.

It is called "The Two of Us". 16" x 20"
