Their Guiding Light
I needed to paint something new last night and used a picture from a recent weekend of camping. The light that was coming through the trees that early morning was amazing...I needed to paint it. I used lose brush strokes...yet with a touch of pointillism, and I had a blast. I am excited where this style is taking me :)

I really like the subtle stuff in the background. Nice. I'm hesitant to put the focal point in the dead center, but....rules are meant to be broken sometimes.
